Do you do that? I drive myself nuts sometimes doing it!
I want to sew.
I want to read.
I want to cook.
I want to clean.
I want to play with my boys.
I want to surf the internet.
I want to help my hubby on his tractor.
I want...
I want...
I want...
But there is never enough time in the day to do it all!
Well I am re-evaluating my priorities. I do it often, when I feel things are not where I think they should be. I have decided that I am tired of wasting time "looking for stuff" in my house so I am organizing EVERYTHING! Seriously! I am getting rid of the 15 sippy cups I have and dwendling down to only 4 (since I have 3 kids this is a good number!) I am throwing away the makeup I have had for 3 years but have been keeping because it isn't all used up. (The stuff is supposed to be changed out every 6 months anyway!) And I am getting rid of all the extra JUNK we have laying around.
Then I am keeping lists. Yes I am a list maker at heart! But my head gets so "jumbled" sometimes it is like I need to click shut-down or press the sleep button. Now, when I think of something that I need to do- I write it down. Now I don't have reoccuring thoughts, "I need to remember to do that." And I don't have to keep reminding myself over and over to do something. It is all wrote down- I won't forget. It sounds crazy but my headaches have slacked up dramatically!
Maybe it is just me but I needed a directing. I forget from time to time what is important. I worry over stupid stuff. I get lazy in my relationship with Christ. And on and on...
I'm not there yet, but I'm on my way.
How about you? Do you ever need redirectioning? What tips do you use to get you back on track?

I am a list maker as well. I love making a list and including things that are almost done so I can finish them and get the satisfaction of checking something off. :P
