Wash the car. Pay the bills. Go get groceries. Take that back to mom. Call the plumber. Send homework back to school. On and on and on and on......until my brain can not take anymore. That is why I must have a To Do list. I used two systems together to create my own way of doing things. Best thing is all you need is a few pens and a cheap notebook.

DIY Mini Minnion Christmas Tree Ornaments- CHEAP!
Minnions! They're everywhere in my house. Bed sheets, back packs, plates, spoons, forks, cups, bowls, socks, shirts, underwear....well, you get the picture- THEY'RE EVERYWHERE! So given I should not have been surprised when my 3 year old tells me he wants his little tree in his room to be a Minnion tree. But I was. I looked everywhere for mini ornaments with no success so being the DIY'er that I am, I made my own. And I thought, I am sure I am not the only one who has had this request from the little person in their life.
So luck for you, here is how I made them!

Evicting Cancer Causing Agents- Part 2
I last shared with you last about why I am working to evict cancer causing agents from my home. For those of you who have waited for the women's deodorant recipe, here it is. And once again, IT WORKS & no cancer causing agents! (Plus it doesn't burn or make me itch like other deodorants do.) ;)

Evicting Cancer Causing Agents- Part 1
Call me over protective. Call me a health nut. Call me plain crazy. I don't care. I am on a mission to cut all of the known cancer causing agents out of my house! As I write this to you my 82 year old grandmother lays in a bed in the hospital with anywhere from days to weeks to live. Why? CANCER! She had melanoma several years ago in a mole and she had it removed. It came back into the lymph nodes in her neck and they removed all of the lymph nodes and muscle in her neck but now its back and it is in her brain. It absolutely is killing me to see her laying there like she is. It is killing me to see my father cry over the thought of what is coming. While I may not be able to prevent environment cancer causing agents from being present, I can prevent from putting them into my body and on my skin. So today, I am kicking deodorant! I'm not going to be stinking because I have made a D.I.Y deodorant for both me and my husband AND IT WORKS!! Plus, it has NO cancer causing agents!

DIY Decorative Throw Pillows
Decorating my home at Christmas time is one of the few times during the year that I go "all out" on the decorations. Sure other times you may find a decoration here or there but at Christmas even by bed gets decorated! This year I splurged and purchased a beautiful poinsettia bedspread complete with bed skirt and shams. To make the bed complete, I wanted decorative throw pillows to go on top. When I started pricing them I about fainted in the store! $40 for ONE twelve inch throw pillow. Mind you it was beautiful, it said "Merry Christmas" but not $40 beautiful! And I wanted more than one, more like three or four. $160 for pillows was NOT in my budget. It was not until I was walking through the dollar store that my eureka moment came. Want to see how to make beautiful throw pillows for less than $8 each? I thought so! ;) Read on.....

DIY Crafts for Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes (and my kids)!

So today I am super super excited! I was playing around on Pinterest (don't you dare ask me how long I spend on Pinterest in any given week! ;) and I came across two separate ideas that I wanted to make for my two oldest boys. One is a magnetic road set and the other a mini stove. But once I got to making them, it hit me! These would be PERFECT to go in my Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes!!!
