Prayer! Plus free printable
Prayer. I wish I could say I was a mighty prayer warrior but the truth is no matter now much I pray at times, it never seems to be enough. All around us we hear of hurting people. With social media now a days we hear of all kinds of things. But what do we do with that information? Worry? Gossip? Become anxious? I say we do something else.Wednesday, September 4, 2019
My Social Media Addiction
Do you ever ask a question and then you wish you would not have asked it? Maybe you are afraid of the answer you may get. Maybe you ask and do not expect to get an answer that throws you for a loop. The later was what I got when I asked God this question, "Why do I feel like I am all over the place? I know that you are supposed to give me a path to walk on but why can I not see the path? Why do I feel like I am tossed over here then to feel like I should be over there? This is the answer I got.

Dust and River Beds
Dust. I hate it. Don't you? It sits on the top of our television, on the top of a bookshelf and even gets on the bottoms of your feet as you walk through the house. Ahhhhh I can't stand dirt on the bottom of my feet! But I hate the dust, that fine dust, that comes when someone drops a plate or a cup and it shatters everywhere. Quick, grab the broom before someone gets cut. And don't you dare come around as you clean without shoes on. But I hate dust in a river bed even more.

When God and I Argue
Do you ever do that? Argue with God? It's just me, okay. ;) Seriously though, why do we do that? I don't know about you but I am hard headed and I know it. I am a planner. I like goals. And quite honestly, sometimes God doesn't go along with my plans, and I don't like that. There it is. I said it. Nothing that God doesn't already know. Trust me, He knows! So last nights argument went something like this....

Is Church a Requirement?
You work a job where you can't make it to church, can you still be saved? You haven't found a church near you where you "fit in" so you don't go, are you any less of a Christian? You are sick and can not make it to church, can God still use me? Quite honestly the true question is this, is church a requirement to be a Christian? This might make some mad. But for others, it will bring freedom.

#9- Fervent Online Bible Study- June 21
Who are you? No really, who are you? Not who YOU say you are but who does GOD say you are? Do you have thoughts that are bad about yourself? If you are a believer in Christ, you have a new identity! It is time that you remind the enemy of who you NOW are. This coming few days will help you do just that.
However, before we jump into the next chapter, what did you learn with Strategy 2: Your Focus? Where has your focus been off? Are you NOW focused on what God wants you to be focused on? Watch the video and let's see.

Fervent Online Bible Study June 4-11- Plus FREE printable!
No don't worry, our series does not officially start until June 12! However, I do have some homework for you for this week leading up to our first week. Consider it if you will an "observation" time. A time to be looking through your binoculars of life to see exactly what your enemy is up to. It is a time to be in camouflage sitting quietly in the bushes to see exactly what your enemy is planning. In war, your enemy isn't going to take it easy on you just because you are not prepared. During an attack you can't say, "Hold on one second and let me reload." No! You MUST be prepared for an attack at any time! Watch the video for more information about this week's assignment.

Digging in Even Deeper
Do you ever have times in your spiritual life when you are thriving? I mean you feel so close to God it is as if He has been over at your house visiting with you all day? I love times like those. But one thing in my 25 years of being a Christian is that those times do not always happen. There are times when we got through a spiritual desert. As much as I dislike those times, I don't know if it has just taken me longer than most to figure it out or if I am getting wiser in my aging but I come out of those times in the desert with a great understanding of something I needed to change.
In 2016 I want to be a prayer WARRIOR. I want to be so close to God that people can not be around me without feeling His presence in my life. I want to serve God in a greater capacity than I ever had. I want to breathe every minutes with God! So how can I do this?

Memorize Scripture with Ease!
Okay I completely think God is sitting in the heavens blessing my goal to Get Serious With Jesus in 2015! First I found the reading plan I wanted to attempt for the next six months. Then I shared with all of you how important family devotions are. The very next day God answered my prayer to help me pray more faithfully for my children when a friend introduced me to Isaiah 55 Pray-er's. Then today, I visited another blog. Diana at Joyful In His Presence has a link on her page to help with Scripture memorization! Today I want to share it with you in homes it can help you too with your scripture memorization!
Friday's Fave Five 01.16.2015
Well I am a day late but better late than never. :) I had a great week as I hope you did as well. My whole week was enjoyable because we spent most of it spending time with family. My favorite part of the week was a trip out of town with my parents. We went to a new business in search of some essential oils we are having trouble finding. All of our local businesses carry the same oils all the time and get aggravated when we request them to order special ones for us. :( Then we had a coffee run because my feet were freezing!

Prayers For Our Children
Do you ever think, I should pray more for my kids or grand kids? Do you feel you repeat the same thing every time you do pray for them? (God keep them safe, healthy and grow up to live for you.) Do you wish you could go to a prayer meeting but do not have time? Have you been to a prayer meeting and it has only been talking and no praying? Well I have got good news for you!!! Keep reading!!

Are Family Devotions Important?
Do you do devotions with your family? Truth be told I did not until several years ago. For me it is important to raise my children in the ways of the Lord. But the busyness of life kept me from taking time daily to talk with my kids much about the Lord. I mean face it. If you are not very intentional, you could go through life without teaching them a lot of things. The point is when you want your kids to learn something new, you are very intentional about making sure they are taught. God is not different. You have to MAKE IT HAPPEN! But are they getting anything out of it? Is it making a difference? Keep reading. You might be surprised at what you learn!

I'm Confused! Sunday School Lesson Help (Free Printable)
Am I the only one that gets confused at times studying the Sunday School lesson? I hope not. At my church we are going through the whole Bible in chronological order by using The Story curriculum that was put together by Max Lucado and Randy Frazee. This week we are on chapter 14: A Kingdom Torn in Two. I really love us doing this as a class and we have had such wonderful discussion every week about it. This week however I am teaching the lesson and being the teacher, it is not good that I was confused. Here is how I got "unstuck". I got out a piece of paper and started taking notes, drawing lines and well, it was a mess. This helped me so it had to help my Sunday school class too. But they can't read this mess. So I created a solution!

New Year's Resolution: Pay Attention in Church- Free Printable
A new year always brings with it new year's resolutions. What better resolution than to spend more time with the person who means the most to you. No not a girlfriend, boyfriend, mom, dad, or spouse. Some one more important: God. Today I have some (more specifically four!) free printables for you to print and give to your child to help them learn to pay attention in church. Instead of doodling super heroes, dolls or who knows what else, these printables will encourage them to doodle about the message. And hopefully they will be learning important information along the way.
